This course is designed for native and heritage Spanish speakers. Students will learn to read and write at a proficient level by studying correct usage of vocabulary and grammar. Students will also study Hispanic culture through various readings and activities concerning festivities, important historical events and works of influential authors of Spanish-speaking countries.

PREREQUISITE: Placement is determined by the Modern Language department proficiency exam.
