    "Fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger." This resource from the CDC includes helpful tips on managing stress and anxiety, as well as numbers to hotlines and self-care ideas. 

     

    Youth Crossroads

    Available for tele-counseling. Please call the main number (708-484-7400) and follow the prompts to reach their School Based Counselor, or email for more information. 

     

    Ebenezer Church Berwyn

    Will be open for food pantry on Fridays from 5-7pm. Kay Rops will continue to be at work and taking calls/meeting with families in need. Legal team will also be available to consultation over the phone at (708) 795-6480 or email at kay.rops@ebenezer-crc.org

     

    Sarah's Inn

    Domestic violence agency. Please continue call Sarah's Inn hotline at 708-386-4225. Spanish speakers are available. 

     

    Corazon 

    Will be closed until March 31, 2020. Updates are on social media and website.

     

    Morton East School Clinic 

    Will be closed. The clinic therapist will be using teletherapy for current clients.  

     

    Pillars Mental Health and Crisis Services 

    Continuing services as usual.  Updates will be posted on their website. You can also call 1-800-345-9049 to see if you qualify to have a crisis worker come to you for an evaluation within 2 hours. 

     

    Hartgrove and Riveredge Hospital 

    Continuing services as usual. In the event of a mental health crisis, the hospital can provide evaluations without an appointment and free of charge. You can also call 9-1-1 in case of an emergency.

     

    Crisis Text line 

    Can be accessed by texting 741-741.  You can reach the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. Both resources are free of charge, available 24/7, and will link you with trained mental health professionals.
